Ewald Hajek

HAJEK Ewald Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home in the presence of loving family on September 27. Aged 91 years. Predeceased by his sister, Helga Hercod, parents Julius and Agnes Hajek and nephew Kurt Hercod. Leaving to mourn his wife of 61 years, Maria (nee Hartner); children: Uli (Rick), Dieter (Kim), and Martin (Chantale); grandchildren: Stephen (Emily), Angela (Andrew), Adam (April) and Jason; and niece Claire (Norman). His family is grateful for the excellent care and support provided by the nurses and staff at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home. At his request, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A service will be held at Caul’s Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 1st, at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Gathering Place.
