Francis Handrigan

Passed peacefully away on Monday, January 21st, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his father Michael Handrigan, mother-in-law Olga Blanche Butler, father-in-law Vincent Fitzgerald, step-father-in-law Jack Butler and sister-in-law Geraldine Kavanagh. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his loving wife of 46 years Dorothy (nee Fitzgerald); his mother Mary Handrigan (nee Moore); his children: Sean (Andrea), Dana (Gerry), Michael (Amanda), Christopher (Nicole) and Meghan (Matt); as well as his precious grandchildren: Tyler, Julia, Joshua, Ryan, Ethan, Abigail, Anna and Luke; his siblings: Patricia, Stephen, Raymond (Judy), Christine (John) and Janet (Bill); brothers-in-law: Bert Fitzgerald (Paula) and John Kavanagh. Remembered by Jim and Maria Graham and a large circle of friends. A special thank you to Dr. Anthony Rolfe, Dr. Sohaib Al-Asaaed, Dr. Cheryl Hurley and the Palliative Care Team. Visitation will be held at Caul’s Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Friday, January 25th, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. from Mary Queen of the World Church. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his name may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
