SMITH Frank David Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Friday, November 15, 2019, Frank Smith, age 83 years. Predeceased by his son, Leonard (2007); his parents, Leonard and Jean Smith; parents-in-law, Joseph and Elsie Formby; and his brother, Geoffrey Smith. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 50 years, Sheila Smith (nee Formby); his 2 sons: Andrew Smith, and Alex Smith (Amber); 3 grandchildren: Amelia, Elliotte and Connor; his niece, Katy Smith and her family; as well as extended family and many friends in both Newfoundland and England. Visitation to take place from Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Tuesday, November 19, and Wednesday, November 20, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Graveside service to take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made as donations in Frank’s memory may be made to the Salvation Army.
