Frank Purcell

PURCELL Frank (Diddles) Passed peacefully away on November 11th, 2019 at St. Clare’s Hospital surrounded by loving family and friends. Frank Purcell (Diddles) predeceased by parents Annie and James Purcell, older brothers Edward (Gord), Gus (Irene), Kevin (Marie) and a special lifelong friend Keith McDonald. Leaving to mourn sons Mark (Betty) and Ronnie (Stephanie) and four loving grand children, Emma, Christopher, Rebecca and Jamie. He will also be missed by brothers Ronnie (Winnie), Randy (Mary), sisters Joan (Jude), Kay (Harry), and Barb (Fred). Also leaving to mourn a lifelong friend Geri Bauer, as well as a large circle of loving nieces, nephews and countless lifelong friends from the West End Club and his darts and card buddies from the Station Lounge. A special thank you to Dr. Bruce and the ICU nurses at St. Clare’s Hospital for the love and care they provided for Frank in his final days. Resting peacefully at Cauls Funeral Home on LeMarchant Road Wednesday from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place from St. Patrick’s Church on Friday November 15, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank’s memory to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
