Frederick Tessier

TESSIER Frederick (Rick) George Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday, October 15th, 2019 after a short illness, Frederick (Rick) George Tessier, age 73 years of St. John's. Predeceased by parents Frederick M. and Mary (nee Buffett) Tessier, sister Eloise Cooper and brother Carl. Leaving to mourn special grandson Dylan Williams; stepdaughter Stacey Cantwell; brothers James (Anne), and Bruce (Marilyn); sister-in-law Anne; brother-in-law Cal Cooper; nieces Susan, Michele, Angela and Jill; nephew Mark; also, a large circle of friends. Rick was a very spiritual person and spent many hours as a chaplain at the Health Sciences Centre and H M Penitentiary. Cremation has taken place at his request. Visitation at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Thursday, October 17th, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 and Friday, October 18th, 2019 from 10-12. Service to be held at the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Friday October 18th, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. No flowers by request. Donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
