EFFORD George Nov 11, 1941 - July 16, 2019 It is with saddened hearts we announce the sudden, but peaceful passing of a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend. He leaves to mourn his loving family: Wife: Marguerite; Daughters: Adele Lawlor & Krista (Roger) Langlois; Step Children: Karen (Rick) Johnson & Les (Deborah) Guest; Grandchildren: Kyle, Preston, Alyssa, Alexander, Ian, Adam, Ashley, Mason, Colin & Kevin Sisters: Olive (Steve) Bartlett & Blanche (Melvin) Walsh; Sister-in-law: Ada Efford and a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. He is pre-deceased by: Parents: George Efford & Maude Mercer; Step-Father: Steward Mercer; Son: Keith and Brother: Allen.The Funeral Service will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, July 20, 2019 from the Salvation Army Citadel, Bay Roberts. Interment will follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Coley’s Point.The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, L.T. Stick Drive, Bay Roberts on Thursday: 1-5 P.M. & 7-9 P.M. and Friday: 1-5 P.M. & 7-9 P.M. In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in his loving memory to the Salvation Army Cemetery Fund. Donations may be forwarded to: Salvation Army, P.O.
