POWER Gerald Joseph August 23, 1957 – Sept 18, 2019 It is with profound sadness that we announce that Gerald passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit of the L. A. Miller Centre, after a long illness at the age of 62. Predeceased by son Chris, parents Thomas and Ethel Power, in-laws Shirley and Ron Lundrigan and Gerard Crane, and sister-in-law Bev Oliver. Leaving to mourn his wife and best friend Judy; son Brad (Katey); Daughter Erin (BJ); fur babies: Monster, Salem, Princess, Rapunzel, Cammie and Traffic Light; brothers and sisters: Gert (Eugene) Keating, Ellie (Mike) Joy, Thomasine, Jack (Janet) and Mary; special niece Leslie; sister-in-law Debbie Murphy; and brothers-in-law Gary Crane and Terry Christian-Quinton (Fred). Special thanks to the staff at the Patel Medical Clinic and to all the doctors and staff at the Health Sciences Centre and the L. A. Miller Centre who have contributed to his care over the years. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Thursday, September 19th, 2019 from 6 p.m – 9 p.m, Friday, September 20th, 2019 from 12 p.m – 9 p.m, Saturday, September 21st, 2019 from 12 p.m – 9 p.m and Sunday, September 22nd, 2019 from 12 p.m – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 23rd, 2019 from Caul’s Chapel at 11 am with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
