BRUCE Geraldine (Kelly) September 9, 1936 – July 10th , 2020 Passed away peacefully in Toronto, she was born in Mt. Arlington Heights/Long Harbour, Newfoundland. Predeceased by her parents: Bill & Marcella (Murphy) Kelly; her son Hughie Bruce and sister Marcie (Kelly) Harris. Gerry is survived by her be-loved daughter Pierrette Donaghy; three grand-children: Billie Donaghy, Hugh Donaghy in Toronto, Chantelle (Dave) Harris & great-grandson Grayson Harris in Clarenville, NL; along with her many nephews and nieces. Sisters: Stella Murray, Stellarton, Nova Scotia & Helen Murray, Mount Pearl, NL; brother Bill (Ella) Kelly; brother-in-law Ray Harris, Alberta, James Procher (Billie’s Fiancé). Can’t forget these special people who were always there for her, Marie King, Theresa Ritter; along with Mollie Dreaddy. Gerry loved life to the fullest , music, bingo, family members and many friends. She loved to brighten the lives of others with her unceasing kindness and pleasant smile. Our hearts have been deeply saddened with her loss and we will always cherish her tenacity with charm, grace & undying love. Cremation has taken place and a family celebration will be held in Long Harbor, NL when it is safe to travel. Burial will be with her son Hughie in Long Harbour, NL.
