ROSE Glen Paul Glen Rose of Irricana, AB (originally of Bell Island, NL) passed away peacefully at Foothills Hospital on Saturday, December 14th, 2019 at the age of 66 years in the comfort of his loving wife of 43 years, Wendy. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife, Wendy; daughter, Lisa (Blair Garrett); son, Jayson (Cailla Thomas); grandchildren, Angie, Amelia, Karma, Lucius, Leith and Faith; sisters, Linda, Melissa (Ray Sankar) and Mary (Dave Fleet); brothers, Jerry (Maureen), Doug (Tracey) and Pat; stepmother, Margaret Rose; mother-in-law, Lila Cox; many family members, friends and long time friend Abe Korbage. Predeceased by his mother, Elizabeth (Butler) and father, Melvyn; brother, Melvyn and father-in-law, Ralph Cox. Private family viewing has taken place at Choice Memorial. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at the Irricana Curling Club at 2:00 pm. Special thanks to the Nurses and Doctors of Unit 36 and ICU for his comfort and care during his final days. Through your travels in life, you were strong enough to win all the battles that life threw at you. You were courageous enough to come to terms with the one you could not win, which made you stronger in the hearts of all you left behind.
