Grace Saunders

SAUNDERS Grace Lorraine Grace Lorraine Saunders (nee Froude) passed peacefully away on July 17, 2019 at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s. Daughter of the late Baxter and Florence Froude. Grace grew up with her best friend her mother in St. John’s. Survived by her loving husband Douglas Saunders of 64 years; children: Gregory (Anne Marie), Michele (Ian Stewart), Christopher (Melani Tandon); grandchildren: Lindsey (Chris Hibbs), Lesley (Renard Froude), Bethany (Evan Porter), Stephanie, Kimberley, and Maxim; and great- grandchildren: William, Audrey, Ellen Grace, and Phoebe. Grace loved being in the country, at the Eastport Shriners Park, swimming, and walking. She will also be remembered for her love of music and dancing, and playing cards with family and friends. No visitation. Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 19, 2019 at St. Michael and All Angels Church, 75 Kiwanis Street, St. John’s. No flowers upon request.
