Heather Elizabeth Lannon (nee Moores)

LANNON Heather Elizabeth (nee Moores) October 9, 1958 – April 13, 2019 Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s, in the presence of her family and friends. Predeceased by her parents Frederick (Ted) and Irene Moores. Left with fond and loving memories, husband of 31 years Ray; son Steven (Kimberley Johnson); daughter Stacey Dean (Brandon); grandchildren Ethan and Liam; brothers Fred (Kathy) and Jeff (Dale); many extended family and close friends. Heather will be fondly remembered as a loving mother and Nanna. She enjoyed spending time at the cabin and she loved to share a hot cup of tea with family and friends. She was an avid gardener, horse enthusiast, and talented crafter. Her warm smile and kind heart will live on in her children and grandchildren. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Tuesday, April 16 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Mary Queen of the World Parish, Topsail Road, on Wednesday, April 17, at 10 a.m. Interment to follow. Flowers are graciously accepted, or donations may be made in Heather’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Newfoundland Pony Society.
