HARBIN Helen Louise It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Helen Louise Harbin at the age of 85. Helen passed peacefully away at Lakeside Nursing Home, Gander. Predeceased by mother Mary Best and husband William. She leaves behind three sons William Jr. (Ingrid), Wilfred (Heather), Stephen (Wanda); two daughters Rae Burry (Terry), Elizabeth Moores (Andrew); one sister, Anita Jeans, Ottawa; ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. A special thank you to the staff at Lakeside Nursing Home in Gander for the exceptional care and compassion. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Monday, September 16 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the Salvation Army Citadel, Adams Avenue on Tuesday, September 17 at 2 p.m., with interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Blackmarsh Road.
