Helen Symonds

Passed peacefully away at St Clare's hospital on 21 January 2019 at the age of 79, Helen (Butler) Symonds. Leaving to mourn husband Bob Symonds, son Robert, daughter-in-law Joanne and granddaughter Lexi. Helen is survived by her siblings Marjorie (Donald) Moss of Ottawa, Jim (Chris) Butler of Lewisporte, Carole (Doug) Symonds of Saint John, Sandra (Edward) Worden of Ladysmith, BC, John (Janette) Butler of Botwood. Helen was a beautiful woman with a wonderful zest for life. Over her 59 years of marriage, she loved the outdoors and travelling and she had thereputation of being a charming hostess and gourmet cook and a marvelous singer. Cremation has already taken place and in lieu of visitation or service, a reception will be held at a later date to celebrate her life.
