VEY Ivy Cynthia (nee Langdon) Passed peacefully away surrounded by loved ones at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Saturday, September 21, 2019, Ivy Cynthia Vey, age 79 years. Predeceased by husband, Lester (2015); her parents, James and Maria; parents-in-law: Malcolm and Rose; brother, Norman Langdon; sister, Rita Langdon; brothers-in-law: Norman Smith and Alex Vey; and nephew, Ron Smith. Leaving to mourn, her daughter, Cindy (Zane); granddaughters: Courtney (Andrew) and Laurie (Jamie); sister, Myra Smith; sisters-in-law: Myra Churchill (Levi) and Jean Langdon; nieces and nephews: Diane Langdon, Denise Smith (Luke), Marge Smith, Maria Drover (Darryl), Chris Churchill (Renee), Nora Peddle (Shawn), Karen Kelland (Dave), Henry Vey (Kerry); special friends: Phyllis Voisey, Kevin Butt and Karla Nash; as well as a large circle of friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Monday, September 23, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm, and at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, HODGES COVE, on Tuesday, September 24, from 7-9pm and Wednesday, September 25, 10-12noon, with Funeral service to follow at 2:00pm. Burial to take place at the Anglican Cemetery, Hodges Cove. As expressions of sympathy, donations in Ivy’s memory may be made to the Dr. H.
