James Gale

GALE James (Jimmie) T. October 6, 1931 - April 3, 2020 It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of a dear husband, father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather, James T. Gale of Southeast Placentia, at Placentia Health Centre, on April 3, 2020 at the age of 88 years. He is predeceased by his parents James and Ellen Gale, father and mother-in-law, Frank and Annie Walsh, and his brother Gerald Gale. Leaving to mourn his wife of 59 years, Rose, his son Francis and wife Louise, his daughter Alice and husband Harold, and grandchildren: Vanessa, Danielle, Bobby, James, and Natasha and great-granddaughter Bianca, his sister Alice Blinn, sisters-in-law, Patricia Gale and Kathleen Chalmers, brother-in-law Michael Walsh. Our sincere thanks to the doctors and staff of Placentia Health Centre and Maher’s Funeral Home for their professionalism. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sacred Heart Church Placentia Maintenance Fund in Memory of James Gale. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 Public Health Emergency, a Mass of Christian Burial will be scheduled at a later date, followed by inurnment at Dermot McGettigan Memorial Cemetery, Southeast Placentia.
