MORGAN James It is with heavy hearts we share the sudden passing of James Charles Morgan (Jim, former Provincial Minister of Fisheries) of St. John’s, NL on Sunday, August 4th, 2019 at the age of 79 years while surrounded by his family and friends at Pleasant View Towers. Predeceased by his parents Samuel and Ella Morgan. Leaving to mourn his wife of 52 years, Denise Morgan (Philippe, originally from Quebec), only daughter Kimberly Dawe (Bill), two grandchildren Alexander and Brandon, Brother Bill Peckford (Elizabeth) of Halifax, and many relatives and close circle of friends. Sending special thanks to the caring and professional staff on the 4th Northwest floor of Pleasant View Towers who have all made his last few month’s very comfortable. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral home on Wednesday, August 7th from 7-9pm and Thursday, August 8th from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Service to be held at St. Thomas’ Anglican Church, Military Road, St. John’s, on Friday, August 9th at 2:00 pm.
