James Patrick (Big Bear) Carey

Passed peacefully away on Monday, July 16, 2018 in the presence of his family at the age of 85 years. Predeceased by his wife Beverley (2017) and parents Gerald and Hannah Carey. Leaving to mourn daughters Lisa (Jim), Jennifer (Marc) and Nancy; granddaughters: Nicole (Ian) and Hailey (Endy); brother Justin (Judy); sisters: Betty (Richard) and Carm; special nieces Natalie, Kim and Vickie; as well as many other nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, extended family and friends to numerous to mention. A special thank you to 3NE PVT Nurses and Team for their compassion and care during the last year. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. As per James’ request cremation has taken place. Visitation on Thursday from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Patrick’s Church. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations, in James’ memory can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
