BUTLER Janet Margaret 1962-2019 Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Center on June 25th, 2019 surrounded by her loving family, Janet Margaret Butler (nee Trickett), age 57. Predeceased by her son Bradley aged 3 months; mother Marion Trickett (nee Locke); and father-in-law Gordon Butler. Left with wonderful memories, her husband of 32 years, Wayde Butler; and their two sons: Brandon (Alyssa) and Jared; father, Lewis Trickett of Topsail; brother Gary (Judi), nephew Mark Trickett (Jenny), niece Gina Trickett (Brian), and great-nephew Franklin Trickett New; mother-in-law Ruth Butler and sister-in-law Valerie Butler (Tim); Aunt Margaret and Uncle Walter Hamlyn of Corner Brook, Aunt Diane and Uncle Ewart Locke of St. John’s; as well as a large circle of cousins and friends. Janet had an undeniable zest for life and an adventurous spirit. She loved traveling, riding her motorcycle, and sitting around the campfire with her fur babies. Her love and fierce loyalty for her family and friends will not soon be forgotten. Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful and caring clinicians in the Intensive Care Units at the Health Sciences Centre, as well as her special cousin Debbie. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Thursday, June 27th from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. -9:00 p.m. A funeral service to celebrate Janet’s life will be held at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Topsail, on Saturday, June 29th at 2:00 p.m. Inurnment to follow in the parish cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her son Bradley. In lieu of flowers, donations in Janet’s memory may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada or Janeway Children’s Hospital.
