NOFTALL Joan C. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother who passed peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, December 10, 2019, Jean Noftall in her 79th year. Predeceased by her husband Ernest; parents Muriel & Lewis Hart; brother Lewis “Bud”; special friend Nellie Boland. Leaving to mourn her sons Ernie (Cindy), Steve (Tina), Kenny (Denice) and Trevor (Lisa); grandchildren Meghan, Mitchell, Steven, Travis, Kiera, and Sophie; great-grandchildren Chloe, Cohen and Lillie; siblings Victoria (Sid – deceased), Betty (Jim), Carmel, and Doug (Carol); brothers-in-law Jack (Joan), Dan (Thelma), Gary (Stephanie); sister-in-law Joan (Jim-deceased); nieces, nephews, and a large circle of family and friends. The family would like to extend a sincere thanks to the staff of emergency & 5SB at the HSC for their care and compassion. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue with visitations on Thursday, December 12th from 2pm – 9pm. Funeral service to be held from Barrett’s Memorial Chapel on Friday, December 13th at 2pm. As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Jean’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
