PARSONS Jean Y. Mrs. Jean Y. Parsons of Upper Island Cove passed away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, St. John’s on Thursday, October 17, 2019. Mrs. Parsons was 63 years old. She leaves to mourn her loving family, daughters Sara (Dennis) & Michelle (John), step-son Danny, Grandson Logan, fur baby: Deacon, siblings Marcy, Raymond (Evelyn) & Gerald (Jean), brother-in-law Eddie (Martha), and a large circle of family & friends. Predeceased by Husband Ted Parsons, Parents Susie & William Drover, infant sister Sarah, sister Joan, brother-in-law Johnny, niece Christine, nephew Brian, and numerous Aunts & Uncles. The Funeral Service will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday, October 21, 2019 from St. Peter’s Anglican Church & Cemetery, Upper Island Cove. The family will be receiving relatives and friends at SLADE'S FUNERAL HOME, CRANES ROAD, UPPER ISLAND COVE, on Sunday: 3 - 9 P.M. & Monday: 10:30 A.M. – 1:15 P.M. In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in her loving memory to St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, St. John’s.
