Joan Snelgrove

Passed peacefully away after a sudden illness on April 24, 2018, Joan Elizabeth Snelgrove (nee Duffett). Predeceased by her daughter Jilly, and parents Ethel and Maxwell Duffett. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 58 years Ross, children Kenneth (Lynette) and Lori Struss (Harvey) and grandchildren Stephen, Martha, Maxwell and Elliott. Also leaving to mourn sisters Shirley Holden (Don) and Gail Butler (Rod, deceased), brothers Ernest “Bud” Duffett (Sandra) and Graham Duffett (Mary) and a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. She will be especially missed at Max’s Place by extended family and fellow campers. Visitation on Friday and Saturday, April 27 and 28 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue. Funeral service to be held from St. James United Church on Monday, April 30, 2018 at 11 am. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
