DURNFORD John Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, John Ray Austin Durnford, age 75 years. Predeceased by his parents Ambrose and Anne Durnford; baby brother Ross Durnford; brothers Alvin and Keith Durnford; parents-in-law Wilfred and Nina Ball; and brother-in-law Claude Ball. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 55 years Sally Durnford; sons Captain Rick Durnford (Lisa), Captain Brian Durnford (Linda), and Christopher (Nancy); two loving granddaughters Chloe and Rachel Durnford; brother Joe Durnford (Mary); loving nieces Pauline Pitcher, Joanne Ball-Gautschi (Dieter Gautschi), and Sherri Crewe (Glen); brother-in-law Kenneth Ball (Alma); sister-in-law Audrey and loving nephew Ross Durnford (Bev); sister-in-law Debby Durnford; lifetime friend John Symes; extended family and many friends. The family would like to send a heartfelt thanks to the 5 South B staff at the Health Science Centre for their care and compassion.
