HILLIER John Howard Passed peacefully away in the presence of his family at the Health Sciences Center on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at the age of 82 years. Predeceased by his parents: Thelma and Richard Gosling; biological father: Richard Hillier; infant daughter: Nancy. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 62 years Ethel; daughters: Faye (Peter), Cathy (Gerald); treasured grandchildren: Ashley, JP (Mandy), Adam (Athea), Danny (Megan); 4 beloved great-grandchildren whom he adored: Rylee, Landon, Nate, Lainey; sister: Kaye (Jerry) Moulton; niece: Patty Moulton; in-laws: Jerry and Shirley Adams, Bob and Pat Adams. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of cousins, other relatives and friends. Special Thank you to Dr. David Hart and Cathy at Topsail Road Medical Clinic, as well as Nurse Joanne Baird at the Critical Care Unit, Health Sciences Center. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home 328 Hamilton Avenue on Friday, December 13, 2019 from 2-9pm. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 1:00pm at Barrett’s Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Howard’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
