Joseph (Joey) Garth Power — St. John's

Passed peacefully away at home with his loving cat Rosco laid across his feet, Joey Power, aged 74 years old. Leaving to mourn with fond memories office and staff of Helping Hands Home Care, and a large circle of close friends from Empower, The Disability Resource Centre, and Cerebral Palsy Association of Newfoundland & Labrador. Cremation has taken place. We will be receiving visitors at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Sunday, March 24, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place on Monday, March 25th, at 11am from the Carnell Memorial Chapel, Freshwater Road. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers are gracefully declined. Donations in his memory can be made to Empower, The Disability Resource Centre, or to a charity of one’s choice.
