KEOUGH Joseph Patrick March 17, 1954 - June 23, 2019 Corner Brook, NL It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Joseph Keough on Sunday, June 23rd, 2019 at the age of 65. Joe was born on March 17th, 1954 in Corner Brook, Newfoundland. He leaves behind his wife Judy Keough; children Melanie (Trevor) Beck, Melissa (Paul) Sambla, Joshua Keough. His pride and joy, grandchildren: Eva Victoria, Eliza Ann, Madis Joseph and Jude Ilmar. Joseph also leaves behind siblings Patrick (Carol) Keough, Geraldine Dalton, Michael (Rose) Kehoe, Robert (Jill) Keough, Sean Keough, and sister in law Mabel as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. His is predeceased by parents Catherine and Gerald Kehoe, and brother, Terry Kehoe. If you could catch Joe in between Leafs games, he could be found in story time chair with grand-daughters Eva and Eliza, fishing in Sandy dump or going back “home” to where his heart lied, Norris Point, Newfoundland. His wit could be matched by no other and he was always good for a laugh. Whether he was telling a joke or sharing a Facebook meme, he could always brighten someone’s day. The family requested those who attended the Celebration of Life, to wear their Toronto Maple Leafs colors in order to show their love for one of Joseph’s great passions. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the local SPCA or Children’s Wish Foundation. A visitation for family and friends was held from Country Haven Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9pm. A celebration of life was held on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 2pm from Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel, to be led by Ed and Debbie Humber. Interment will take place at a later date. “Forever In Our Hearts”
