KEELING-WALSH Judy Judy Keeling Walsh, 73, of Largo died suddenly in her home May 14th, 2020. Judy was born in Heart’s Delight, NFLD as the second child of Isabel and Wendel Harnum. She graduated with her Nursing degree from General Hospital School of Nursing in St. Johns NFLD. Judy loved her chosen profession. She taught nursing and continued expanding her education right up to the day she died. Judy was preceded in death by her parents Isabel and Wendel. She is survived by her husband of 28 Years, Timothy Patrick Walsh; her siblings, Paula Harnum Brown and Robert. Judy has two daughters, Christina Keeling and Staci van Wyk; grandchildren, Sarah and Johnnie van Wyk. Her patients thought the world of her, her co-workers were grateful to have her on their teams and her supervisors wanted to clone her. She had a passion for life and a boundless energy that infused every room she walked into. She loved to be doing something. If there wasn’t a project already underway she created a new one. Tim thought the sun rose and set with her and happily knocked down walls or put up shelving wherever she wanted it. For the last years of her life Tim was living in a memory care facility. Early in the disease Judy’s loving care kept him cognizant far longer than anyone could believe. That care continued into the facility with daily visits, bringing him clean clothes and ensuring he was groomed as meticulously as ever. With COVID regulations she was no longer allowed to visit him in person but she found a way. Bringing him sweet treats and foamy Frappuccino's the girls on the floor would pick up at the door and bring it to him on the second floor patio where she could watch him enjoy them. Not capable of hugging him broke her heart and added to the stress and responsibilities she carried bravely without complaint. Being forced to stay home in quarantine for 8 weeks was difficult for her. Her energy had to go somewhere so it went to another of her passions; any home improvement project she could think of. Between climbing on ladders to clean gutters and working outside to paint the patio deck and fencing Judy never stopped. Until she truly stopped... Judy’s ashes will remain in Florida until Tim is ready to join her. The family is planning a celebration of her life when this crazy world we now live in gets back to some sort of normal, when it’s safe to come together again. We will announce that at a later date.
