Karin Boeving-Khan

BOEVING-KHAN Karin 1945 - 2019 Karin passed away peacefully on August 17, 2019 in St. John's, NL. She is predeceased by her husband, Rafaat H. Khan and her parents, Hans-Joachim and Hanni Franke. She is survived by her daughters, Miriam (Luke) and Sabrina (Chris), and her grandchildren, Erika, Trypp and Senna. Karin was born in Wuppertal, Germany. She studied and worked as a physiotherapist, before moving to Calgary, AB to be with her husband Rafaat and raise her family. Her favourite pastime was hiking and exploring the beauty of Newfoundland, and volunteering with WAMUN. A Celebration of Life will be held at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, on Saturday, September 7, 2019 from 10am to noon. A short service and interment to follow at General Protestant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the East Coast Trail Association or the WAMUN scholarship fund.
