RYAN Kathleen Frances Nov 29, 1933-Jan 11, 2021 It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt & friend. Surrounded by her loving family, Kathleen Frances Ryan passed away peacefully at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Jan 11, 2021. Kathleen is predeceased by her parents, Daniel & Margaret Pennell, her children Shawn, twins Peggy Lee, & Cathy Lynn, great granddaughter Hollie, & many relatives of the Ryan and Pennell families. Kathleen is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Cyril, their children Paul (Marj), Gerard (Elaine), Terry (Cheryl), Dawn (Greg), Jill (Craig), & Nadine (Stephen), precious grandchildren Chantille (Tyler), Paula, Monique (Jason), Brittany, April (Brandon), Zachary (Nicole), Kathleen, Abigayle, Olivia, Kennedie, Maggie, Alex, Ryan, Katie, & great grandchildren with whom she cherished, Brandon, Carlie, Isabelle, Rylund, Brooklyn, Treyden, & Avery. Also left to mourn, Kathleen’s siblings Mary, Victor, Harold, and Cyril’s siblings, Rita, Richard, and special in-laws. Kathleen lived a beautiful, well-travelled life. She did so with grace, humility, & resiliency. A talented seamstress, cook, and baker; her love for all of these was well known. The love and pride Kathleen felt for her family was like no other. The loving partnership shared between Kathleen and her wonderful husband Cyril was remarkable; it will live on in our family forever. Gratitude and thanks to the medical staff whom provided care to Kathleen in Trepassey and St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital. The family is forever grateful to those whom moved mountains to allow her family to be with her during this time. Special thanks to nurse Lorna Lawlor for her visits to our home. Visitation at Fahey’s Funeral Home-Trepassey on Friday, January 29, 12pm-2pm for family, Public Visitation 2pm-9pm & Saturday, January 30, 10am-12pm, followed by mass at Holy Redeemer Church at 1pm. Due to Covid restrictions mass will be invite only. Burial to follow. To honor Kathleen’s love for flowers, they will be graciously accepted, or donations can be made to Holy Redeemer Parish, Trepassey. We find comfort in knowing Kathleen will join her children in Heaven. Rest peacefully gentle mother.
