WALSH Lawrence Joseph It is with heavy hearts that we, the family, announce the passing of our beloved Husband, Father and Poppy. Lawrence Joseph Walsh, Retired Staff Sergeant with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary passed suddenly on Sunday, March 29th at the age of 78. Predeceased by his infant son Lawrence; parents Kathleen and Larry Walsh; sisters Kay Block and Shirley Noah and brother John Walsh. Leaving to mourn and cherish him forever his beloved wife and best friend Ann Walsh (Westcott); dearly loved daughters Kim (Tom) Tobin, Sandy Mamye and treasured son David (Cheryl) Walsh. Precious grandchildren whom he loved with all his heart and soul Megan, Emily, Ryan and DJ; sisters Mary Colins, Rose Cotter and Carmel (Wayne) Baker; sisters-in-law Elaine Millman, Gail (Charlie) Sampson, Karen (Rupert) Walsh, and brother-in-law Bill (Rhonda) Westcott, numerous nieces, nephews and dearly loved friends. The family would like to extend a sincere and heartfelt thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Health Sciences Centre for their care and compassion during this difficult time.
