Leo A. Mahon

Passed peacefully away on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, in the presence of his loving family, Leo Aloyisous Mahon at the Health Sciences Centre, age 76. Predeceased by his parents John and Annie (Gardiner); brothers Gerald, Ron, Val and Paddy; sisters Madonna, Mercedes, Bernice (Bun) and Marie. Left with fond and loving memories his devoted wife of 55 years Harriet (Hos); children Tony (Joan), Andrea (Trevor Korab), Leo (Lisa) and Bob (Heather); grandchildren Jessica, Sam, Dayle, Nicholas and Eric; brothers Gus (Shirley - deceased) and Frank (Margaret - deceased); sister Bernice; brothers-in-law Ben, Albert and Jack Anstey; sisters-in-law Kathleen Grenning, Carrie Walsh and Celeste Mitchell, as well as a large number of nieces and nephews, other family and friends. Special thanks to the staff at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home, 3 South and the staff of the Health Sciences Centre, 5 North A; close friends during Dad’s last year at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home, Regina Angel (Ashley), Gay Fiander and Alice Seviour and family. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m.- 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Pius X Church, Smithville Crescent. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Because of Dad’s love of nature and his garden, flowers gratefully accepted.
