Liam Walsh

Liam Walsh, loving husband and proud father, passed peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre on August 18 at the age of 40. Predeceased by grandmother Pauline Young. Leaving with precious memories his wife Angela Rose, children Desmond “Dessy” and Luke “Lukey”; parents Cathy Young and Ted Walsh (Elaine Mitchell), sister Meghan Walsh (Mike Carew), parents-in-law Shirley and Carl Rose, sisters-in-law Donna Douglas (Scott), and Susan Rose; nephews Eamon, Mannix, Euan, Rory and Alex; as well as a large circle of close friends and relatives. Liam had an enthusiasm for life, an engaging personality, and love of music, especially The Boss. He loved his wife and two boys more than anything. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by so many. Liam truly lived life to the fullest. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Monday, August 20 from 1-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Liam’s memory to The Boys and Girls Clubs of St. John’s, or the Rabbittown Community Centre.
