Lillian Brophy — ST JOHN'S

BROPHY Lillian February 3rd, 1949 - June 21st, 2019 Passed suddenly away surrounded by her loving family on June 21st, 2019 at the Health Sciences Centre, Lillian Brophy, aged 70 years. Predeceased by her husband Basil; daughter Colleen; parents James and Elizabeth Raymond; brother Henry, and her brothers-in-law. Lillian leaves behind her precious son Basil who she loved with her whole heart; also her family members Mary (sister-in-law), Eddy (Eileen), Eugene (Judy), Kitty (Howard, deceased), Jim (Doris) and Patsy (Jim); a large circle of nieces and nephews, especially her great nieces Jamie and Cia; special friends Joan and Charlotte; the Brophy and Kirby families and their children; and as she called them, “My girls next door”: Mackenzie, Anna and Katie. Lillian was a kind and generous person who loved all of her family. For her family, she wanted them to know that she loved them all dearly, and wanted to thank them for being there for the good times and the bad. God bless you all was her request to be told to her family. And, she loved her cats and dog. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Monday, June 24th, 2019 from 10 am to 9 pm. There will be a committal service for Lillian at St. Kevin’s Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
