Lucy Mae Cole (nee Bragg)

It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of a dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt; Lucy Cole – formerly of Pouch Cove, long-time resident of Manning’s Hill, Torbay. Predeceased by her husband, Wilfred; parents, Harold and Minnie Bragg; mother-in-law, Dora Cole; siblings, Mame Jennings, Dorothy Hamlyn, Charlie, Edith Bubli and Eric; as well as David Goldberg. Leaving to mourn, daughter, Carol Langmead (Russell); adored grandchildren, Steven Langmead (Laura), David Langmead (Melissa) and Rebecca Langmead (Jamie); great-granddaughter, Natalie Lucy Langmead who brought her so much joy. Loving sisters, Marjorie Gruchy and Joyce Manning – her lifelong companion. Her niece, Yvonne Manning (Frank Corbett) with Anna and William Corbett; nephew, Jason Manning (Jackie); many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The Cole family in BC; devoted friend, Margaret Lacey; special extended family, Pat and Linda McDonald, Sharon and Andrew McDonald; the Goldberg family; Rev. Gerry and Donna Hayes and many friends from St. Nicholas Church where she was a long-time member - active in her church ACW and volunteering in her community. Special thanks to the staff and her friends at North Pond Manor. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, Torbay. Cremation has taken place. Visitation on Sunday from 12-9pm. Funeral Service will take place at St. Nicholas’ Anglican Church, Torbay at 2pm on Monday, December 10, 2018. Donations in Lucy’s memory may be made to St. Nicholas’ Church Building Fund.
