Margaret Carroll

CARROLL (nee Emberley) Margaret Kathleen Passed peacefully away, surrounded by her loving family, at the Health Sciences Centre, on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, Margaret Kathleen Carroll (nee Emberley) age 92 years. Predeceased by her husband Cyril. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her children: Cyril Joseph Carroll Jr. (Colleen Power), Terry Carroll (Dela Keats), Anne Marie Carroll (Andres Basanta), Thomas Carroll (Marieke Weavers) and Anita Carroll (Bassem Eid); nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly and took great joy in. Margaret was a retired nurse of St. Clare’s class of 1949. She had a great capacity for loving and caring for everyone. Her love of music, gentle nature, sense of humor, and kind ways will be missed by all those who are part of her large group of extended family and friends. Special thanks to Edith Druken and the staff at Hillcrest Estates, the doctors, nurses and staff at 4NA at the Health Sciences Centre and the Palliative Care Unit at the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre for the wonderful care and compassion extended to our mother and our family. Resting at Caul`s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, with visitation on Thursday from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Patrick’s Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Margaret’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
