Marie Theresa Murphy (nee Hall)

Passed very peacefully away in the presence of her family on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, aged 86. Predeceased by her husband Gerald, her dear mother Catherine (Kitty) Hall, father John (Jack) Hall, brother Jack Hall, dearly loved niece and nephew Cathy Ryan-McKeown and Ernie Rideout as well as many members of the Murphy family who were such an important part of her life. Left to mourn with so many loving memories her only child whom she loved so much and lived for each day, Tina (Susanne), three sisters Elizabeth “Bette” (Ern Rideout, deceased), Catherine (Jim Hodder), Sheila (Alec Lacey), granddaughter Amy (Kriss), special great-granddaughter Lucy, sister-in-law Cathy Hall. She also leaves a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends whom she loved very much as well as her dear roommate and friend at the Glenbrook Lodge Rita Roche. We would like to thank the very kind and loving staff of Glenbrook Lodge for their constant love, guidance and support over the past year and a half. Special thanks to RN Gloria Jefford who was a constant advocate for our dear mother. The Glenbrook became her home away from home and we will be forever grateful. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 11 a.m. from St. Teresa’s Church.
