REID Marjorie Ivy (nee Sharpe) Passed away at the Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday, October 16, 2019. Marjorie Reid age 94 years. Predeceased by her husband Ralph; son Harold (March 1, 2019); son-in-law George Lewis and daughter-in-law Bev Hiscock. Left to mourn are her children: Geraldine Collins (Hubert Blackwood) and Dave (Joy Gaulton); grandchildren Sherry (Russ Carrigan), Chene (Jenny), Samantha and Corey; great-grandchildren: Michaela and Jack, Sid and Jack and Xander; sisters: Florence (Fred) Anderson, Margaret (Bud – deceased) McGreggor and Elsie (Doug - deceased) Parsons, extended family and friends. At Marjorie’s request cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mt. Pearl on Monday, October 21, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 21, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from Barrett’s Funeral Chapel, Mt. Pearl. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Forest Road. As expressions of sympathy flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Marjorie’s memory to the Human Services.
