Thank-you to the staff of Quality Home Care and to Alderwood for the excellent care and kindness shown to Bernadette. Bernadette had a great love of animals, especially cats. She was the female version of St. Francis of Assisi. All animals would have a protector in Bernadette. Burial has taken place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Witless Bay, on Monday, March 23, 2020. Celebration of life will be organized when public gatherings are permissible. Donations in Bernadette’s memory can be made to the SPCA.
