Mary Catherine Quirk (nee Hamilton)

Passed peacefully away with her daughter by her side on October 20, 2018 at Agnes Pratt Home, aged 91 years. Originally from Fortune Harbour NDB. Predeceased by her husband Tom October 17, 2017 and sister Sr. Gertrude Hamilton RSM. Leaving to mourn with cherished memories daughter Ann Marie Buoy, grandchildren: Julie (Tom) and Ryan of Edmonton AB; brother John (Nora), St. John’s; sisters-in-law Margaret O’Quinn, Stephenville, Elizabeth Hogan, Ottawa, Angela Stokes (Mike), St. John’s, Madonna Whiffen, Grand Falls; brother-in-law Frank Quirk (Joan), Texas. Special thanks to the wonderful staff of Southview and Pratt Place (Agnes Pratt Home) for their kindness and compassionate care over the past six years. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Tuesday from 12-4 pm and 6-9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Teresa’s Church, on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 9:30 am. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary’s memory to the Agnes Pratt Foundation.
