Mary DALTON (nee McHugh)

DALTON (nee McHugh) Mary Mary Dalton was born in Marysvale, on January 22, 1954. After a short illness, she passed peacefully through Heaven's Gates on April 20, 2019, to join her grandmother Mary McHugh, grandfather Vincent McHugh, father Richard Bartlett, mother-in-law Mary Dalton, and father-in-law George V. Dalton. She leaves behind with tremendously broken hearts; her loving husband and amazing care taker to the end Danny, daughter and son-in-law Danielle and Trevor Button, her precious boy Andrew. She will be dearly missed by her mother Agnes Bartlett, uncle Jack McHugh (Margaret); her brothers and sister: Vince (Gail Simms) Bartlett, Richard (Regina) Bartlett, Michael Bartlett, Margaret (Susie) (Jim) Bartlett-Kenny; nieces and nephews: Victoria and Stephanie Bartlett, special godson Brent and Blake Kenny; brothers and sisters-in-law: Roseanne Dalton, Albert (Marg) Dalton, Ron (Marcella) Dalton, Irene McCarthy, Sharon (Angus) Dalton, and Gary (Ann Marie) Dalton; her 14 nieces and nephews from the Dalton clan, including her special goddaughter Melissa Dalton, as well as many other cousins, relatives and special friends, from her many years working with the provincial government, Conception Bay Centre School Board and many schools including her work family at Immaculate Conception School, Colliers. The family is eternally grateful for the outpouring of love and support from our family, neighbours and friends. A special thank you to all the extraordinary people who helped during her illness including her Nurse Practioner Michelle Efford and Dr. Loveys of the Kelligrews Medical Clinic, Doctors and Nurses, and support staff at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre, and the wonderfully caring nurses of 5 South B at the Health Science Centre. Cremation has taken place and visitation will be at Flaherty's Memorial Funeral Home, 70 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Harbour, on Tuesday, April 23, from 2pm-9pm, and Wednesday, April 24, from 2pm-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place from Our Lady of the Snows Roman Catholic Church, Marysvale, NL, at 11:00am, on Thursday, April 25, 2019. Inurnment to follow in St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Cemetery in Brigus.
