JACKSON Mary Louise It is with great sadness that the family of Mary Louise (Mills) Jackson announces her passing in Edmonton, Alberta on Thursday, July 4, 2019 after a brief illness. Predeceased by her parents, Walt and Bette Mills, her husband, Harry Jackson, his parents, Spencer and Sheila Jackson and her sister-in-law and partner in crime, Kim Dooling. Left with fond, and often hilarious, memories of Lou's great spirit and joy for life are her brothers, Walter (Wendy), Joe (Janet) and John (Kim) and sisters, Cathy (Donna), Andrea (Ken Webber) and Jan (Ron Kenny), brother-in-law Bill Jackson, sister-in-law Kate Jackson, brother-in-law Charlie Tizzard and many nieces and nephews who adored their Aunt Lou. Also mourning this loss is Lou's beloved faithful sidekick, Zeena and a large circle of extended family and friends. At Lou’s request, cremation has taken place. Friends and family are invited to gather at Serenity Funeral Service 5311 91 Street NW, Edmonton, AB from 2:00 to 4:00 PM Saturday, July 13, 2019 to share loving memories and pay their respects. A similar gathering will also be held in St. John's for her Newfoundland family and friends at a date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lou's name to your local SPCA.
