Mary Smith (nee Murphy)

Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at the Dr. Leonard A. Miller Centre, PCU, Mary Smith, age 80 years. Predeceased by her husband, Edward; parents, James and Annie Murphy; brothers: Philip and Patrick; sisters: Margaret and Florence; baby daughter, Mary; and parents-in-law, Edward and Violet Smith. Leaving to mourn and cherish her memory are her son, Ken (Paulette); daughter, Glenys (Bill); grandchildren: Stephanie (Shayne), Nicholas, Jacob, and Brandon (Hope); great-grandchildren: William and Audrey; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends – including her favorite special feline friend, Clyde. Special thank you to the Doctors and Nursing staff at The Dr. L. A. Miller Centre, PCU, for the devotion and care given to our mother in her final weeks. Your kindness will never be forgotten. As per Mary’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment will take place in Avondale at a date to be announced. As expressions of sympathy, donations in Mary’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
