Maxene Winnifred Stead (nee Messervey)

Passed peacefully away on Friday, August 3, 2018 surrounded by her loving family, Maxene Stead, age 80 years. Predeceased by her parents Robert and Agatha Messervey, her brothers Otto, Cay and Robert Messervey. Leaving to mourn her loving husband of 62 years Lawrence; her children: Rick (Kim), Cathy Tessier, Bob (Cathy), Vickie Stead, Lorie (David) Dallas, Debbie (Roland, deceased) Delaney, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will take place at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Sunday, August 5 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from The Carnell Memorial Chapel on Monday, August 6 at 2 p.m. with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
