Michael Patrick Gorman

Gorman Michael Patrick (December 4 1945-April 23 2019) Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at The Waterford Hospital on Tuesday, April 23rd, 2019, Michael Patrick Gorman, aged 73 years. Michael was born in Ottawa Ontario, but moved to St. John’s Newfoundland at an early age. Predeceased by his parents Vernon and Beatrice Gorman; second wife Kathy (nee Withers) Gorman; and his many aunts and uncles in the Gorman family in Ottawa. Leaving to mourn his loving wife, Leona (nee Williams); daughters Kim and Debbie (Joe) Hlavin; son Chris; step children Linda and Jody Williams; brothers: Gary (Cynthia), Bruce (Wendy) and Paul( Maureen); sisters: Mary Haynes, Carol Gorman and Maureen (Peter) Bennett; precious grandchildren: Danielle Gorman, Justin and Sarah Hlavin and Damien Walsh; great -granddaughter Jazmine Fifield; special fur baby Maggie; and a large circle of nieces, nephews relatives and friends, especially from Sears where he was a long time employee. A special thank you to all the wonderful Dr.’s and staff on East 2 A at the Waterford Hospital. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at Caul’s Funeral home, 84 Lemarchant Road on Friday, April 26th, 2019 from 2 – 4 p.m and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 27th, 2019 from Caul’s Chapel at 10 a.m with inurnment to follow in St. Kevin’s cemetery.
