HOLLOHAN Monica Marie April 2, 1929 – June 19, 2019 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Monica Marie Hollohan, retired school teacher, age 90 years, at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home on June 19, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Kevin Hollohan Sr.; parents Thomas and Josephine Armstrong; parents-in-law Patrick and Mary Ann Hollohan; sister Catherine Hollohan; brothers Thomas Joseph and William Armstrong; brothers-in-law Leo Hollohan, Loyola Hollohan, Patrick Hollohan, Thomas Clarke, Sam Cove and Gerald Casey; sisters-in-law Clare Clarke, Irene Cove, Kathleen Casey and Regina Armstrong; nephews David Armstrong and Leo Hollohan. Left with fond and wonderful memories are her sons Kevin (Debbie) and Thomas (Delores); three grandchildren Nicole (Daniel), Victoria (Brett) and Kevin (MacKenzie); sister Josephine Vickers (Vincent); brothers Robert (Agnes), Louie (Anita), James (Bonita) and Francis (Cathy); sisters-in-law Jean Armstrong, Lena Armstrong and Mercedes Hollohan; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A special thank you is extended to the staff of St. Patrick’s Mercy Home for the excellent care, companionship, compassion and love shown by Dr. Sandy Ennis, nurses and caretakers of 2 North to our mom during her five-year residence at the home. A special thank you to Father Ed Sutton and Father Wayne Dohey. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road with visitation on Sunday from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Patrick’s Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation in Monica’s memory may be made to the St. Patrick’s Mercy Home Foundation. “A Mother’s Love Lasts Forever.”
