Muriel (Moo) Mary Morris (nee Fleming)

Muriel (Moo) Mary Morris (nee Fleming), in her 100th year. Passed peacefully away at Pleasant View Towers on Tuesday, December 4, 2018. Predeceased by her husband Douglas Richard, her sisters Catherine, Genevieve, Laurie, Rita, Bride, Gertrude and her brother James. Leaving to mourn her three sons Sandy (Patty), Doug, and Paul (Debbie) and her daughter Holly (Bob); grandchildren Rob, Django, Dashiell, Aaron, Carolyn, Maggie and Katie and great-grandchildren Rudi and Josie as well as many nieces and nephews. Special mention to Gail (David) Manning (nee Hickey). Moo was also blessed with a second loving family at Pleasant View Towers who cared for and loved her while in the home. While too numerous to mention individually, the nurses and staff of the home were exceptional. Special mention to the nurses of 3 North East. Your love and tender care of our mother will never be forgotten. Muriel lived every moment of every day with a positive outlook and a great sense of humour. She volunteered for years at The Gathering Place and the Canadian Blood Services. Her volunteer awards are a testament to her caring and loving nature. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road on Friday, December 7, 2018 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 1 p.m. from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Muriel’s memory may be made to the Gathering Place.
