Patricia Chaulk
CHAULK Patricia Annette Delores After a brief battle with cancer; Patricia Annette Delores Chaulk passed peacefully away at the age of 59 on Thursday, February 25, 2021 in Ottawa, Ontario. Leaving to mourn her Brother Chris (St. John’s NL); Sister Denise and partner Shon (Ottawa, ON), Sister Michelle and husband Byron (Ottawa, ON); Nephew Albert; Nieces Stacey, Tara, Rachel, Krista and her favourite niece “Coco”; Special cousins Stella Park and Bev Smith (Corner Brook, NL), Aunt Hilda Murray (Mount Pearl, NL) and many other family members and friends that were family to her. Annette was preceded in death by her grandparents Abel and Gertrude Mouland, Chris and Deborah Chaulk; parents Albert and Meta Chaulk and sister-in-law Dorothy Stacey. Annette was born in Bonavista, NL and lived in Mount Pearl, NL until her move to Ottawa in 2017 after retiring from nursing. She left the province of Newfoundland but her heart never left. Many people in Ottawa loved her accent and she loved talking about her home province. She was an amazing baker and attributed the skill to time spent baking with her mom and grandmother. It became her passion and everyone enjoyed her tasty treats. She walked many miles and shared many home-made dog treats with her favourite niece Coco. Nothing made her smile more than walking the dog on a windy day as it reminded her of Newfoundland. Annette was a great organizer and true to form, up until the end she reminded her sisters to declutter and update their houses. She was a fantastic aunt always there to chat, bake their favourite dessert, cook their favourite meal, shop for a bargain, and give advice. Annette was a kind-hearted loving person and will be dearly missed by all that knew her. She was always ready to help anyone at anytime and her sense of humour and laugh were infectious. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Annette will be cremated and her ashes brought back to Newfoundland at a future date where a celebration of life will be held.
