HORWOOD Patricia Mary (nee Crotty) It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of our mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend at the L.A. Miller Centre on Friday, May 17, 2019 at the age of 88. Predeceased by her husband Frank (September 1982); parents John and Stella Crotty; sisters Joan Bishop and Doris Crotty; brothers Jim Crotty and Wayne Crotty. Leaving to mourn her five children Gary (Ruthanne), Barb (Brian), Janice (Larry), Terry (Pam), and Paul (Patsy); nine grandchildren Kim (Colin), Karen (Logan), Kelly (Chris) and their mom Barb, Shauna (Brad), Tracey (Kendra) and their dad Scott, Jennifer (Josh), Ashley (Dion), Katie and Josh; seven great-grandchildren Caleb, Sophia, Gabriel, Charlie, Alexander, Oliver and Aiden; her partner Ron Stevenson and his children Ron (Bonita), Karen (Al), Annette (Steve), and John (Bev); special brother Frank Crotty (Oromocto, NB); special sister Maureen Noseworthy (Thornton, ON); brothers – in – law Eric Horwood and Gerald Horwood; sisters – in – law Barbara Hall and Joan Bambrick (John); lifelong friend Mildred Taylor and the Murphy family; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A special thank you to the nurses on 4 North B at HSC and the Palliative Care at the Miller Centre. Cremation has taken place. Visitation from Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Sunday from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Mass of Celebration will be held at St. Paul’s Church on Newfoundland Drive on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Patricia’s name. Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words, and will be missed beyond measure.
