FOLEY Paul Gerard Passed peacefully away after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving and devoted family. Predeceased by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph and Ruth Williams. Leaving to mourn with broken hearts and a lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife Sharon, daughters Vanessa (Keith Randell) and Meghan (Brandon Rideout); his father and mother Thomas and Margaret Foley; his brother Sean (Stephanie); sisters Coleen (Ian), Carolyn (Blair) and Deanne (Maxwell) and his nieces and nephews whom he loved so much. Also leaving to mourn his brothers and sisters-in-law Robert (Lisa), Charles (Annette), Lynn (Chris), Michelle (Ed) and David. He leaves to mourn a special uncle/friend Dave (Donna) whom he loved. Paul also leaves behind a very close knit circle of faithful friends and coworkers that meant the world to him. Paul was an amazing husband and father who adored his daughters and his wife, who was the love of his life. He was well respected in his work life and was dedicated to his job. Paul was always the optimist and saw the best in everyone. Paul was loved deeply and his passing has created a void in many hearts. A very special, heartfelt thank you to two wonderful people who travelled this four and a half month journey with us, Diane and Jeff White. Paul loved you both and you made things as easy as possible. We would like to thank the Doctors, nurses and staff at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre, 4NA and 5SB at the Health Sciences Centre. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, on Sunday and Monday from 12 noon – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist. Cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation. Rest easy, Paul. You’ll be forever missed but we will carry you in our hearts forever. “Because of my father, only kindness felt like home”
