Paul Mccormick

Paul T. McCormick, St. John’s, NL., age 70, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2018, after a lengthy illness. He was born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, on January 16, 1948. Paul is survived by his wife of 47 years, Myra; his children, Trevor (Teralynn) and Penny; his cherished grandchildren, Jordan and Kiera; sisters, Brenda MacLeod, Norma McCormick and Debbie Lush; brother, Ralph; sisters-in-law, Eleanor Dobbin and Susie Cheeseman; brothers-in-law, Don Penney and George Penney; and his many adored nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Ethel; sisters-in-law, Shirley Penney and Betty Penney; brothers-in-law, Gordon Penney, Dennis MacLeod and Barry Lush. Paul was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police for more than 30 years, stationed in Newfoundland and Labrador. He enjoyed and appreciated the many visits from the RCMP veterans during the later part of his illness. He was happiest spending his summers on the Mira River with family.
