Paul Vincent Burke

BURKE Paul Vincent July 6, 1964 - August 12, 2020 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden, but peaceful passing of Paul Vincent Burke, age 56 years, following a lengthy illness. Predeceased by his parents, Theresa (nee Carew) and Cecil Burke. Left with fond and loving memories are his brother Brian Burke (Jane); sisters Janet (Andy Kearney) and Sharon (Tom Rose); as well as many nieces and nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the administration, and staff of Chancellor Park, 3 East, for the excellent care and compassion provided to Paul during his stay, and for going above and beyond during the COVID-19 lockdown. Special thanks to Dr. Heather Woodland, and Dr. Pat O’Shea; as well as the many doctors and nurses, LPNs and PCAs and many others. Paul appreciated you all. A special thank-you to the management and staff of Linda’s Personal Care Home who provided excellent care for Paul in the year before he moved to Chancellor Park. Cremation has taken place. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private family service will be held at Caul’s Chapel at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, August 17, 2020. Paul was a quiet, fun-loving and carefree man, who had a big generous heart. He will be sorely missed. In honour of Paul, a gesture of kindness for another would be appreciated, or donations in his name can be made to a charity of your choice.
